Orley and his bass

Orley (bass guitar and counter bass) started his career after studying bass and counter bass en Ciego de Avila, working with various bands: ‘Orquesta Eclipse’, ‘Conjunto Campesino’, ‘Campo Lindo’ to name a few. Later he moved to Havana and joined ‘Septeto Tradicion’ the band of the well known Leyanis Lopez  with whom he performed in Paris under the ‘LusAfrica’ world music label. 

 From 2007 to 2011, Orley has been with ‘La Orquesta de  Maykel’  and ‘Blanco y su Salsa Mayor’ bands participating  to  their disc  recordings and various international tours in Italy,  Sweden,  Denmark, Deutschland, Poland, Switzerland,  Belgium  and  Peru. Between 2011 and 2013 he was part of ‘ Amor y el  Son’,  'Pepitin y su Cumbacha’ and 'Habana Midic’  and  performed in  tours through Egypt, Jordan, Tunisia and Lebanon.
